Mission dates: 21–26 August 2026. Pet Fair Asia runs 19–23 August. We strategically arrive on Day 3 of the show — when suppliers are more motivated to negotiate and close, prices are more flexible, and samples flow freely. Two focused show days outperform four scattered ones.

Visa costs — Australian passport holders currently enter China visa-free for stays up to 15 days. We'll confirm requirements closer to departure.
Travel insurance — mandatory for all delegates, not included. We can recommend providers.
Personal spending — shopping, alcohol, personal transport, room charges.
Meals outside group dinners — breakfasts and non-group lunches are your own expense.
Product purchases, freight, customs and duties — goods ordered during or after the mission are separate to the trip cost.
Airport transfers — from your home city to Sydney International Airport and return.

FAQ.

Do I need importing experience?
No. The mission is designed to work for first-time importers as well as experienced buyers. We guide you through every step — from supplier selection to negotiation to what happens after you land back in Australia.
Can you help if I only want small quantities?
Yes. Through our China connections, we negotiate at local market prices and push for lower MOQs — giving Australian buyers access to terms that aren't available to anyone walking in cold off the street.
What if I don't speak Chinese?
Our team handles all Mandarin interpretation throughout the show, factory visits, and supplier negotiations. You focus on the business decisions — we handle the language.
Do I need a visa?
Australian passport holders currently qualify for visa-free entry to China for stays up to 15 days. We'll confirm the current requirements and assist with documentation closer to departure.
Can I accumulate Qantas Points on the flights?
Yes. Flights can be booked through your existing Qantas account to accumulate Qantas Points. We can assist with the booking process to make sure your points are credited correctly.
Can you help me after I return to Australia?
Absolutely — this is one of our strongest offerings. Through our sister companies we provide independent QC inspections, order management, Australian warehousing, dropshipping, and ongoing supplier relationship management.
Is this suitable for exotic animal vets, aquarium businesses and bird retailers?
Yes. Pet Fair Asia covers the full spectrum — including small animals, birds, reptiles, aquatics and specialist veterinary supplies. We also have access to specialist animal hospitals in China, giving delegates in the exotic and clinical space unique sourcing opportunities.
What is not included?
Travel insurance (mandatory), visa fees if applicable, personal spending, meals outside group dinners, airport transfers from your home city to Sydney, and any product purchases or freight costs.
Can I bring my business partner?
Yes — subject to available places. Each person requires a separate booking. With only 8 delegate spots total, we recommend applying early if you want two seats.
Is the application binding?
No. Submitting an expression of interest is non-binding. A formal agreement and payment schedule follows once we confirm the group composition and your place is secured.
